J & Z had a weigh-in today at the pedi to ensure that their weight gain was back on track. As you may remember, back in November they fell off the percentile chart completely. They were not chartable. We all became concerned and thusly transitioned from mostly veggie based meals to nutrient dense foods high in fat...the twins love this and apparently it worked, because they are back on the chart again!
Z is the 2nd percentile and J charted at 1.27%. I never thought rating such a low percentile could be so satisfying or perceived as good news, but it is! As for height, they're in the 22nd percentile which is encouraging. It's funny but I don't worry about them - they are truly engaged, energetic and athletic and have voracious appetites...people are always commenting about how tiny they are but I honestly don't see them that way...they will grow in their own good time. They are such a presence it's hard to feel that they're anything but BIG.
They will catch up. And when they do, oh my. Watch out, world.
